Wonderful beaches to explore in the Algarve in Portugal.

We try to have a holiday twice a year so we can see the world. I love traveling and seeing how other people live. So, we went to the Algarve in Portugal in June 2019 for the first time. The heat in June is bearable at 25 to 27 centigrade each day and it turned out to be a fantastic two-week all-inclusive holiday for us!
Victoria Beach & Sport Hotel
For those two weeks, we stayed at the Victoria Beach & Sport Hotel. We stayed there all-inclusive. The hotel is situated in Praia da Falesia, Albufeira and is a 10 minutes drive to the main area of Albufeira. It’s a top hotel to stay in as it’s between the towns of Albuferia and Vilamoura which are two interesting tourist areas to visit. It has its own sports ground and gym. Athletics come here to train.
The all-inclusive buffet was delicious with fresh food for breakfast, lunch, and dinner along with all-inclusive drinks throughout. We couldn’t fault the food and there were some interesting Portuguese dishes too. There was something for everyone there.
The beach of Praia da Falesia is a pleasant 10-minute walk away which we did most days. Sometimes we walked through one of the five-star hotels to get to it.
The rooms at Victoria Beach & Sport hotel are a combination of one-bedroom basic apartments to superior apartments that are comfortable and unique. There is an elegant dining area, a separate kitchen fitted out with the best appliances if you want to cook, and a living space area with a tv along with a private bathroom.
Albufeira town
Albufeira is a bustling place to be with lots of entertainment, restaurants, and bars and an array of boutique type shops and stalls. If you want some fun then visit here because you won’t be bored as there is, lots to do day and night.
There are also 4D simulator rides where the whole family and friends can have fun. The beach has a clifftop where you can climb some steps to the top of the town and see some amazing views. This shouldn’t be missed.
Vilamoura
Vilamoura is a harbor area with a variety of places to eat and drink. It’s a busy area in the evenings. They have some unique waterfront fish restaurants too where we ate one evening. It’s touristy and buzzing with people.
Praia da Sao Raphael beach
This is one of the best beaches in the Algarve. We took a taxi to this beautiful area and we were glad we came to see it. It took us 20 minutes to get there where we spent the day. There is a cafe there for food and drink or you can take a picnic which is what we did.
