My Visit to Dundalk and Blackrock in Ireland

I loved visiting Ireland.  It was a unique place to be.  Have you ever been there?

I have been visiting Ireland since I was a child because my mother was from County Sligo from a small town called Tubbercurry.  The place has changed since I was there as a kid.  It has grown from what I have heard from relatives.

This time my husband and I visited Dundalk and Blackrock for a few days.  We stayed in a lovely Bed & Breakfast near Blackrock seaside town (picture above).  It was only a small town with a few shops, restaurants and a few pubs, but it was good enough for us.

Dundalk was only a five-minute drive away.  This is a much bigger town than Blackrock.  There is lots to do there too.  There are cafes, pubs, shopping, a cinema, a dog track, restaurants, churches to explore and more.  We visited there because my husband's mother was born there and buried in Dundalk graveyard.
